Zambia - Victoria Falls

Wake up to the adventure you've been dreaming about. This is a true Sun International resort with a real African flavour! Like all Sun International resorts, you can look forward to swimming pools, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, the Kamp Kwena Kiddies Centre, a beauty centre, shops, dinner-dances and 114 exclusive private acres along The Zambezi River to vacation in... relax... unwind... and enjoy the best of Africa!

The Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world, has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. This mighty waterfall forms a spectacular backdrop to the Sun International resort along the Zambian banks of the great Zambezi River. Special attention has been given to re-cultivating many different species of indigenous plants to recreate a totally natural environment, so that the two hotels on the resort blend harmoniously with the surrounding landscape.

The Royal Livingstone Victoria Falls Zambia

The Royal Livingstone is a Sun International hotel. That means you can expect nothing less than the highest level of service and enjoy a myriad of superior activities. In everything we do we aim to exceed your expectations, allowing you to escape into the romance and luxury of your journey.

Translated – The Smoke that Thunders – is the local name for the Victoria Falls. The world-famous cascade of water provides the baseline for your journey into colonial sophistication. Its fine spray may be seen like a cloud across the bushveld, throwing rainbows hundreds of feet in the air. On the forested banks of the great Zambezi River, upstream of the mighty cataract where it thunders into the Batoka Gorge, is The Royal Livingstone. In its cool lounges and shaded verandas, you will encounter the elegance and luxury of an earlier, more courteous age.

Zambezi Sun

The Zambezi Sun, located on the edge of the eastern cataract of the Victoria Falls, reflects the richness and diversity of the country’s heritage; capturing the very soul of Africa – unpretentious, fun and welcoming. With its warm, earthy architecture, inspired by an African walled village and simple finishes highlighted in bright mosaics and fabrics as well as intoxicating Zambian artworks and accessories, the Zambezi Sun is set to turn your stay into a memorable experience.

Livingstone Royal Golf and Country Club

Originally established in 1908, in Livingstone, Zambia, the Livingstone Club was first redesigned in 1936 and again completely restored in 2006. Set in a veritable botanical garden with over 118 tree species, this golf course provides an unique African golfing experience.

The distinctive genuine Edwardian Club House extends a very warm welcome, offering a five star restaurant experience and club bar both overlooking the wonderful views of the golf course.
